Early Aircraft Drawings 1911-1919 CD

The CD contains over 2000 drawings of a wide variety of different WW1 types, many very obscure. There is a selection of thumbnails below to provide an idea of the contents of the CD and here is a list of the aircraft types included and here is a sample drawing from the CD of a Nieuport IV.G done by Rozendaal in 1912. There are a dozen aircraft with this level of detail and many that have dozens of sketchs showing details usually invisible in photographs. Not all drawings are to this level of detail however and some may lack basic dimensions (a quick search with Google should turn up dimensions for these).

This was originally to be just "World War One" aircraft, however many pre-wars types were in use as trainers through the first part of the war, and I have also included a few post war types that were modifications of wartime designs.

I recommend Compupic or a similar graphics explorer type program to access the images. Web pages are provided for convenience however most browsers do not print large images properly. These were done on a Windows system and work on recent Mac systems. Older Mac's may have to open image files from within a graphics program.

From August 2004 until February 2008, I spent a considerable amount of time on the road (delivering heavy vehicles), so shipping of orders (and replies to queries) was delayed, but that has now ended as I quit that job.
