Chris Kutler has NEW INFORMATION on the effective use of graphics in HTML.

Chris writes:
"I would like to add a button on the effective use of graphics. I plan for my html to discuss the do's and don'ts of images as well as discuss graphic design. To often I see people throwing up images that detract from the page instead of attract or add value. This is not something I know about, but it is something I will research and report on. I don't have time to send you the beginning html now, I will try early next week. I am definitely looking for any input others in the group can provide."

Since Netscape 1.1 was released, the HTML programmer has been able to control the colors of several items that make up the page. These include the background color, text color, link color, and visited link color. The following are some possible colors that are now available., go visit http://www.infi.net/wwwimages/colorindex.html.

This should help when deciding color schemes
