AxtiveX technology from Microsoft can open doors, or link you to other documents at the click of a mouse. By superimposing an open door, over a picture when the mouse enters a "hot spot" a door will appear to open.

The above image was copied from Microsoft's site and modified slightly to demonstrate it's possibilities for our class project. Clicking the mouse when the door is open will take you to the "Yellow Brick Road", and a click of the left mouse button over the "tree house" will take you to the class "Blueprint". I think this technique would be of help in our quest for the "Ultimate Web Page"
